Naz Founder of BazAct

Hi, I’m Naz, aka The Momager Film Critic. I’m a parent first, a film lover always, and someone who believes that the stories we watch with our teens can teach us more than we expect.

I write teen-aware movie and TV reviews for parents, dig into acting craft through cinema, and share honest reflections on what films show us about growing up, identity, and creativity. I also create guides for parents of creative teens, little roadmaps to help you navigate this world alongside your kids.

I’m a licensed content creator in Dubai (Media Permit 3531797), which means everything you see here comes from a professional perspective, but always with the warmth, honesty, and real-life momager lens I bring to parenting and film.

What makes this journey truly personal is my son. He’s always had a creative spark and dreams of becoming an actor. Watching him explore his passion, his curiosity, imagination, and fearless approach to storytelling, inspired me to create BazAct.

But BazAct was never just a name.

It was always a bridge.

Between heritage and ambition.

Between identity and film.

Between how we were raised, and who our children are becoming.

As a mother, I didn’t want an acting space built on ego or noise. I wanted one built on roots. On culture. On storytelling that means something. On performance that feels honest, not loud.

BazAct isn’t about pretending. It’s about expression. It’s about play. It’s about identity moving through story. And when you combine that with disciplined screen craft, something powerful happens.

That’s what BazAct stands for. Not just acting. Belonging.

This is a space for parents who want to watch, think, and talk about films with their teens, without pressure, judgment, or gimmicks.
